Microsoft Certified Desktop Support TechnicianThe Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification will get you started in your IT career by ensuring you have the skills to successfully troubleshoot desktop environments running on the Microsoft Windows® operating system.
MCDST candidates are required to pass two core exams.
Microsoft Certified Systems AdministratorThe Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certification will advance your career by ensuring you have the skills to successfully manage and troubleshoot system environments running on the Microsoft Windows operating system.
The Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) credential proves that you have the skills to successfully implement, manage, and troubleshoot the ongoing needs of Microsoft Windows® XP/2003–based operating environments. An MCSA candidate should have 12 months of experience working with a desktop operating system, a network operating system, and an existing network infrastructure. MCSA candidates are required to pass three (3) core exams and one (1) elective exam. Microsoft Office SpecialistMicrosoft Office Specialist (Office Specialist) certification, the premier Microsoft desktop certification, is a globally recognized standard for demonstrating desktop skills. The Office Specialist program is helping meet the demand for qualified and knowledgeable people in the modern workplace.
To earn the Microsoft Office Specialist (Office Specialist) certification for Microsoft Office or Microsoft Project, you must pass one or more certification exams. Office Specialist exams provide a valid and reliable measure of technical proficiency and expertise by evaluating your overall comprehension of Office or Microsoft Project programs, your ability to use their advanced features, and your ability to integrate the Office programs with other software programs.
