The Allegheny Valley Institute of Technology was founded on solid principles of delivering practical technical education at a reasonable cost to the student. The Allegheny Valley Institute of Technology was conceived on the notion that education should not only open doors of opportunity for the student but provide the stimulus for the student to advance well beyond the classroom objectives.  Our students will be instructed on state-of-the-art equipment and are encouraged to use what they have learned to a practical end.  All of our programs have been design to include an equal mix of lecture and laboratory.  This will allow the student to get the hands-on factor that is a major component of the individual course objectives.
