Scholarship Program
Network Technology Resources, Inc.
(NTRI) awards scholarship money to new students who show academic promise
and/or financial need. This Scholarship fund was established by NTRI,
who understands the importance of keeping a technical education an
affordable option for needy students.
How do you apply for a NTRI
Scholarship?
All new
Allegheny Valley Institute students
are eligible for the above mentioned scholarship upon
completion of their entrance requirements. There is a simple application
that is required to be filled out by the potential student. You may
access this scholarship
here or in the Student Aid Office at
the Allegheny Valley Institute of Technology.
SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES
Name of the
Scholarship
The name of this scholarship is the "NTRI Technical
Scholarship."
Purpose
The purpose of this scholarship shall be to provide recognition and
financial assistance to potential students at Allegheny Valley Institute of Technology who have achieved academic success or who manifest promise of
academic success or that demonstrate a need for funds to help them meet
their necessary tuition expenses.
Eligibility
To qualify, a
student must have been accepted into a technical Program at the Allegheny Valley Institute of Technology, be of good moral character, demonstrate a
financial need and be at least 18 years of age. Students with a sincere
academic interest in the Program of choice and high motivation will be
considered. The student must have submitted, on their behalf, two
reference letters (non-related persons) to the attention of:

Selection Procedure
The Network
Technology Resources Board of Director’s shall select the recipients of this
scholarship. The Office of Student Aid, which is responsible for ensuring
compliance with State and Federal regulations, shall be informed of all
awards.
Amount of Award
The selection committee shall determine the number of scholarships awarded
each year and the amount of each.
Scholarship Conditions
- The student
cannot take cash in lieu of the scholarship
- The scholarship
cannot be transferred to a second party
- All rules and
regulations of the school apply to the scholarship recipient
